What Is Magalir Urimai Thogai Scheme Tamil Nadu

The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Shri MK Stalin launched the ‘Artist Women Eligibility Scheme’, under which financial assistance will be provided to about 10 lakh women. As per the scheme, eligible women of the state will get an amount of Rs 1,000 per month.

For operationalizing this important initiative, the state government has allocated a budget of around Rs 7000 crore. The scheme is being organized in two phases – the first phase from July 24 to August 4 in 98 wards and the second phase from August 5 to August 16 in 102 wards.
